GETTING TO HOLLYWOOD & HIGHLAND

WALK - What’s an extra mile or two on a beautiful Sunday morning?!

METRO RED LINE - Exit Hollywood & Highland station. In case of overcrowding, consider exiting at Hollywood & Vine and walking west a few blocks. CLICK HERE.

LOCAL BUS - Local MTA buses will be operating right up until the start of the march. CLICK HERE for the 2/302 timetable. Or take the West Hollywood Shuttle for FREE! (Details below).

LONG RANGE/COMMUNITY BUS - Please let us know you are coming with a bus so we can get you proper credentials for your dash. This helps us identify you as your group arrives and it helps us guarantee a staging area for your vehicle during the march. Email cody@resistmarch.org with the name of your group, how many on your bus and your estimated arrival. For buses, drop off is southbound on Highland Ave, south of Milner Road and north of eastbound Franklin Ave before the 8am start time of the march. CLICK HERE for exact location. DRIVING - We highly discourage driving but if you must drive, we suggest you allow plenty of time to navigate extensive road closures and to find parking.​​ Please CLICK HERE for the Department of Transports planned road closure map.

WEHO - HOLLYWOOD SHUTTLE
West Hollywood is providing free shuttles on the CityLine to the Hollywood & Highland area starting at 6am and finishing at 9.30am on Sunday. The service leaves from West Hollywood in front of the Pacific Design Center on Melrose Ave just east of San Vicente. Afternoon shuttles returning to Hollywood & Highland depart from 12.30pm until late afternoon (exact time TBD) from the same location.

USING USING LA METRO SERVICE
If you intend to use local bus services or the Metro we suggest purchasing a $7 Day Pass. Single ride bus and Metro journey's are $1.75. We recommend purchasing/reloading TAP cards BEFORE Sunday, June 11th. There maybe portable TAP vendors at Hollywood & Highland and North Hollywood. AFTER THE MARCH: GETTING HOME​
-
LOCAL BUS - All regular West - East services (via Sunset, Santa Monica, Melrose) will be diverted via Beverly Blvd until Public Safety deems it safe to reopen the streets and buses can return to their normal routes. Until then, buses will be diverted at Beverly / Santa Monica (in Beverly Hills) thru Beverly / Highland. They will be 42 buses stopping on Beverly Blvd at San Vicente or Beverly Blvd and La Brea between 11 AM and 3 PM, with a bus approximately every 6 minutes (lines 4, 14, and 704 on a Sunday schedule).

METRO RED LINE - To get back to the Red Line, there are many different bus routes from West Hollywood to all the Red Line stations, not just Hollywood & Highland. See below:

LONG RANGE/COMMUNITY BUS - can be staged on the west side of San Vicente Blvd. between Dorrington Ave and Beverly Blvd. Proceed to this area after the march. *All buses MUST depart by 3pm.* Remember, if you are arranging your own community bus please contact us IN ADVANCE (email: cody@resistmarch.org) so we can provide you credentials (aka a “dash pass”) to help you guarantee a staging and pickup slot. He will also provide a recommended route to take from Hollywood to West Hollywood!

ADA / ASL / DISABLED ACCESS
We want you there!
Hollywood: recommended drop off for ADA disability vehicles is on Hawthorne at Sycamore, south of Hollywood Blvd. It is a short walk up Sycamore Ave to Hollywood Blvd. The ADA/ASL area will be on the south side of Hollywood Blvd, west of Sycamore Ave next to the Press area, very near the stage.
West Hollywood: recommended drop off for ADA disability vehicles is on Melrose Ave between Almont and San Vicente Blvd. This is the closest access to the ADA/ASL viewing area which is located at Santa Monica Blvd and Almont.

Hollywood to West Hollywood transport: we have a limited number of spots on transport to get people with physical disabilities from Hollywood to West Hollywood. Please contact Cody@ResistMarch.org for more information.
